Some fascinating developments finally! The Hive-Mind people or perhaps now officially the "Afflicted" (as per Carol's naming of them), have left Carol as they need space from her previous episode's shenenigans.
I'm guessing that a plot point of the show moving forward would be a slow trust from a few of the other non-Afflicted people, especially with the new discovery in the warehouse at the end of the episode.
One theory I've found on the show's subreddit (a mixed bag of interesting theories and memes) mentioned that the drink in the Milk carton is actually some sort of liquid extracted from the brains of the dead (the 7.1 pH matches the Brain's) which may be what's providing the necessary nutrients for the Afflicted?
This could be plausible and I'm wondering how "far" of a Sci-fi this would be - like would this be an Alien type of story, or if there's a weird human or group of humans who orchestrated the series of events (as such in Severance).
It's picking up it's pace again, and I'm looking forward to the next episode!
